Junior Achievement of South Central PA Mask Policy
Updated February 26, 2022

Junior Achievement is following the current CDC guidelines and will continue to monitor and adjust our policy, as necessary.

Mask Policy for JA Classroom, YES. STEM, and REAL Life Volunteers

With the updated guidelines from the CDC, effective February 28, 2022, all JA volunteers are to follow the masking recommendations of the schools where they are volunteering.

Assuming the school does not mandate masks, the choice for wearing mask will be a personal one.    We do encourage you to bring a mask with you in the event that the school’s policy changes at the last minute.

This is an important decision, and we hope we will not have to return to our previous mask mandate.  We will continue to base our JA policy on CDC guidelines for the remainder of the school year.

Thank you for your understanding as we have navigated this challenging time.

Mask Policy for JA BizTown Volunteers, Educators, and Students:

With the updated guidelines from the CDC, effective February 28, 2022, all JA BizTown Volunteers, Educators and Students are to follow the masking recommendation of the school that is visiting BizTown.

Assuming the school does not mandate masks, the choice for wearing mask will be a personal one.   We want to make sure everyone is aware that we have tried to provide a safe environment with several enhanced protocols.   BizTown is a close proximity (non-socially distanced) environment.
