Junior Achievement YES! (Your Economic Success) Program Celebrates Milestone of 300 Programs on March 5 at Cocalico Middle School
Denver, PA - March 5, 2026 - Junior Achievement of South Central PA is proud to announce a major milestone: the delivery of its 300th YES! (Your Economic Success) program, taking place on March 5 at Cocalico Middle School. This achievement marks a significant moment in the organization’s ongoing mission to empower students with the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Since its founding, the YES! program has been committed to equipping middle school students with hands on activities to inspire students in career readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Reaching 300 programs delivered reflects the organization’s expanding impact across schools and communities.
“This milestone represents more than a number,” said Allison Kierce/President and COO. “It represents hundreds of classrooms, thousands of students, and countless moments of growth, connection, and inspiration. We are honored to partner with schools like Cocalico Middle School to make a lasting difference.”
The March 5 program will bring together students, educators, and community volunteers for an engaging, interactive experience focused on building essential life skills. The event will also recognize the dedication of school leaders, teachers, and community partners who have helped make the expansion of YES! programs possible.
As YES! celebrates this 300-program milestone, the organization remains focused on expanding its reach and deepening its impact in schools throughout the region.

Junior Achievement of South Central PA Celebrates 65 Years of Impact Since Opening in York
York, PA -2/18/26 -Junior Achievement of South Central Pennsylvania (JA) is proud to celebrate the 65th anniversary of its founding in York, marking more than six decades of empowering local students with the skills they need to succeed in work, entrepreneurship, and financial independence.
Since opening its doors in York in 1961, Junior Achievement has grown from a small local initiative into a regional organization serving over a hundred thousand students annually across South Central Pennsylvania. Through hands-on programs in financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship, JA continues to inspire students to dream big and prepare for their futures.
“Celebrating 65 years in York is truly a milestone for our organization based in York. Last year we celebrated the 70th anniversary of our Lancaster area which we merged with in 1916. ” said Allison Kierce/President & COO. “We are incredibly grateful to the educators, volunteers, businesses, and community partners who have helped us reach generations of students and make a lasting impact.”
Over the years, Junior Achievement of South Central PA has expanded its offerings to include experiential learning opportunities such as JA BizTown?, JA Inspire?, STEM Summit, REAL Life, YES!, and Fundamentals, inspiring PRE-K students through high school seniors to succeed.
Today, the organization serves over a hundred thousand PreK–12th grade students each year across 14 counties and 96 school districts, continuing its mission to ensure every student has the knowledge and confidence to build a successful future.
As JA reflects on 65 years in York, the organization also looks ahead — strengthening partnerships, expanding innovative programming, and continuing to equip the next generation with the tools they need to thrive.
