Due to the state budget
reductions and the
impacts of the economic
recession, Junior
Achievement is being
forced to make dramatic
adjustments to our
operating budget.
Unfortunately,
this comes at a time
when educators are
requesting more of our
programs than ever
before.
In attempt to provide as
many programs as
possible, we are
launching the “Secure a
Class” campaign. We are
reaching out to school
foundations, PTOs,
community supporters,
volunteers and the
business community to
offer an opportunity to
help ensure that JA is
able to provide the
valuable programs.
While it is
doubtful that we will be
able to fulfill the
requests for all
programs, with your
help, JA will be able to
provide as many classes
as possible. |

“Secure a Class” is the funding program to support
Junior Achievement’s in-class programs.
This past year, over 30,000 students in our
community participated in our in-class programs.
Nearly two-thirds of our operating budget is
allocated to this effort.
By becoming a Secure a Class sponsor you are ensuring
that we are able to continue to reach students with JA
programs.
You can sign up today to sponsor a class, a school or a
district.
Simply go to our website and click on the “Secure
a Class logo” on our home page.

"Save a Class" Sponsorship - $100
In attempt to provide as
many of the 1,800 programs as possible, we are launching
the “Secure a Class” campaign. We are reaching out to
school foundations, PTOs, community supporters, and our
volunteers to offer an opportunity to help save a class
by contributing $100 to cover the cost of the program
materials. School and school district sponsorships are
also available. While it is doubtful that we will be
able to fulfill the requests for all 1,800 programs,
with your help, JA will be able to provide as many
classes as possible.
School Sponsor - $1,000
By becoming a School Sponsor you are ensuring that we
are able to continue to reach students with JA programs.
The School Sponsor funding of $1,000 provides resources
to manage volunteer recruiting and other school related
staff work, without which we could not run our in-class
programs.

District Champion - $10,000
By becoming a District Champion you are ensuring that we
are able to continue to reach students with JA programs.
The District Champion funding of $10,000 provides
resources to manage the overall integration of JA
programs into district curriculum.
