This orientation consists of 21 modules:
- four Basic Requirements
if you are NOT a teacher, all four must be completed before you
can proceed to any other modules
- six Elementary programs
- six Middle Grades programs
- five High School programs
The modules are accessed from the drop-down menu above.
NOTE: You only need to complete the Elementary, Middle
Grades, and/or High School programs that you will be administering. |
| Prior to starting a program module, it is
recommended that you have the associated program kit or at least the
program's Guide for Volunteers (Consultants) and Teachers. |
| The QuickTime 4 (or later) player must be installed
on your system to view the videos that are contained in a few of the
modules. If you do not have the QuickTime 4 player, click the link below
to install the free player. Once installed, return to this orientation. |
| If you are NOT a teacher, you must complete
the four Basic Requirements modules before you will be permitted into a
program module. A record of your progress is maintained in a
database when you complete the self-check for a module.
Completing
the self-check is the only way to record your completion of a module. |
| When you have finished your orientation, please
complete the Evaluation. Your feedback is valuable in helping us meet
the needs of JA Volunteers. |
Once you have completed your orientation:
- If you have already received your assignment to a teacher and
class, contact the teacher to schedule your program start.
- If you have not yet been assigned to a teacher, contact your
local Junior Achievement area office representative to let him/her
know that you have completed your orientation and are ready for an
assignment.
